Even David Axelrod admitted that the usual laundry list SOTU silliness fell flat with the American people.  What we saw was a man with serious mental acuity degradation issues that is not in charge of anything and is only doing what he is told.  I have to wonder how much Adderol they had to give him to make it through the speech with only a handful of gaffes.  He was probably up half the night he was so hopped up on stimulants.

What struck me was the apparent inability of politicians (many of whom have little true talent to speak of) to put aside their camera faces, back slapping, laughing, selfie taking with senile Joe, shenanigans in a SOTU speech and strike somewhat more of a somber tone knowing that innocent, defenseless citizens are being slaughtered in a country that borders the NATO alliance territory DURING THE SPEECH!  The behaviour of that group of politicians and observers last evening was for the most part, nauseating.  And having to watch Pelosi knaw on her lip all night, and think that to her right was Harris, who is in line to take over for Joe should he succumb to his dementia, had me wonder what has this nation become. 

Everything the Dems touch turns to s**t.  Someone will probably throw the inappropriate flag, 15 yards and loss of down.

You obviously didn't listen to this when he said it.  Had you listened you would have not posted this as an example of anything because you would heard the tone of his voice.  He was exactly right and the reality is that Putin is running circles around Dementia Joe and his handlers.  He was pretty dang savvy when he got Dementia Joe to approve Norsdstream 2 which gave him a lot of leverage over western Europe.    He was pretty savvy to take advantage of Dementia Joe destroying our domestic energy industry and sell tens of millions of dollars of oil to the U.S. every day so we are funding his invasion of Ukraine. He was pretty savvy when he took over Crimea when Obama was president and Dementia Joe was VP at zero cost because he saw the way Odipsh!t responded to countries that cross the red line.  Probably also saw Obama riding a bike with his helmet and Mom jeans...or maybe when he threw that first pitch like a girl.  And he was very savvy to not attempt this when Trump was President but in around a year after Dementia Joe took office he saw a once in a lifetime opportunity......and he took it.  Yes, compared to your choice for President Putin is indeed very, very savvy.

Whether his gambit pays off only time will tell.  But other than the very brave Ukranian people, not one other country has interceded militarily.  While they are facing more opposition than they expected, absent other nations stepping into the breach the outcome is a fait accomplis.  I detest Putin with every fiber of my being but I am not mind numbed moron that doesn't recognize that he's no fool and has made Biden look like the feckless, craven, incompetent, senile old fool that he is.  I am hopeful that this invasion is his downfall but I also fear who might replace him.

When the host depicted the Trump administration's approach as "pretty tough on Russia, in a lot of ways," Bolton disagreed.

The former Trump national security advisor said the 45th president "did not" handle Russia better than President Joe Biden, as Schmitt said, and listed a series of qualms he had about how Trump dealt with Russia President Vladimir Putin.

"We didn't sanction Nord Stream 2," Bolton said, referring to the Russian offshore natural-gas pipeline running to Germany under the Baltic Sea, which was officially canceled last week by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

"We should have," Bolton added."We should have brought the project to an end."

After mentioning sanctions the Trump administration enacted on some Russian oligarchs, Bolton became more frank.

"But in almost every case, the sanctions were imposed with Trump complaining about it and saying we were being too hard," Bolton said. "The fact is that he barely knew where Ukraine was. He once asked John Kelly, his second chief of staff, if Finland were a part of Russia. It's just not accurate to say that Trump's behavior somehow deterred the Russians."

Chart at your link stops on Feb 18th at 106 thousand barrels per day, I wonder if we are up or down from there but will use it to show you how ignorant your post is.  Current pricing at $110.19 per barrel(dont know if you have seen that pricing lately or not but for some reason it just keeps going up and up and up and up) or roughly around $12 million per day we sent to Russia  ( yes price of oil was probably less last month )  just over 11.6 million dollars PER DAY!!!! What is wrong with a new nuclear deal with Iran? Trump promised his love affair with Jung was going to lead to a nuclear deal with North Korea. When they both have nukes you will be complaining we should have worked with them to prevent the nukes.
