You do realize that in general the more densely populated areas of the country tend to vote democratic and that the virus spresds more easily where the density is higher don't you.  Perhaps it would be more instructive to display the upper map above another showing the concentration of opiod addiction or poverty or greatest concentration of people with no high school diploma or most unhealthy lifestyle or, most instructive of all, average IQ!

First, this is not a Lake Martin site...it is just dominated by Lake Martin residents.  I am not retired and have lived in in intown ''chithole'' Atlanta since 1973 and love it. I do have a 2nd home in the Florida Panhandle...still Trump country but sane compared to this forum.   I am self employed and set my own hours and enjoy looking at this site which l discoverd during the drought of 2009.  It consistantly make me LMAO and amazes me that so many nut cases can live in the same general area.

Archie, what an assinine comment.  It has "snuck" into the halls of Congress.  It has snuck into Hollywood.  It has snuck into rural America.  No one chooses to live in any area where they believe they are immune from God's occasional "knuckle-curve".  If they do, it is wishful thinking.  

I know people who choose to live in Atl on 1/10 of an acre, park on the street, can hear next door neighbor indoor conversations, and love the buzz of the city. You may be one of them. I am not.  So what.   I have chosen to live on over an acre, hear crickets and occasional I85 noise if the wind is blowing in the proper direction, don't see my neighbor and live in a Stephen Fuller designed Southern Living home.  Different strokes for different folks.  An hour and 30 minutes door to door to LM.  It's just the lifestyle one chooses for themselves and family. 

You chose yours.  You cannot fault mine.
