Subject:	Kudos to The Landing

Went to The Landing this afternoon/evening.  They were slammed, with boats waiting three and four deep to park. Bar service was quick and efficient.  Wait to order seemed interminably long, but the reason became apparent once we ordered.  The ordering was being paced at the level to which the kitchen was able to process those orders.  Thus, our food arrived shortly after we ordered, and my wife's fillet was perfect.  My smoked wings once again were great.

Kudos for sure to a kitchen staff working in about a 3x15 foot confined space.  Not only did they pump out the food, but it was GOOD!

The northwest side of the lake has been underserved for years.  Congrats to Herb for filling that need, and in an outstanding manner at that.

We took the grandkids there yesterday and I was amazed how fun and good the food was.  Great idea for an open air place to eat on the parkercreek side.  First time there and we’ll be back with more grandkids next week.  We are on the real island side and there is nothing over here!
