email is working both send & receive; but when i go to email a scanned or saved document, it says" either outlook is not set as the default  or your rerequest cannot be fulfilled."

I have checked setting in both Outlook & Laptop & outlook is set as default; i have shut down & rebooted , all to no avail; all was working yesterday ! help -my business depends on my ability to scan & send documents

If you really need to send, sign up for Yahoo mail....real easy and try sending. You can always figure out Outlook later.

I have an Apple but one suggestion take it off default and then put it back as default. Maybe that will reset.

What version of outlook 2003, 2007, 2010, 2016 or is Office365?

The one thing Microsoft is good at is breaking a good thing.

Did microsoft install any updates to your office / outlook since the last time it worked correctly.  if so uninstall to see if the problem goes away.

 Take a look here, if you have to ask what the registry is and why back it up before modifications, The page references a fixit download but as usual their page is like GFY, missing the important parts.

As a last ditch possibility some have reported success resolving the error with adding another email program ( Thunderbird ) setting it as default and then switching back later.

Spent me weekend with my family and friends, weather sucked... and didnt think of you at all, was actually reading some news when the boss man sent me an email to let me know that for a three day weekend we get not only you but the other 2 showed back up being stupid as well.

I am so proud of you Pee Wee that you spent your weekend with family and friends. Afterall, you are under so much pressure at work you needed the 3 day weekend. Unfortunately, no one else on the Forum other than your boss man and me really gives a chit how you spent your weekend. Good that your boss man follows your posts. Hit him up for a raise...tell him you are making him proud with your posts and that has value. If he doesn't agree, tell him to sign up as a member and I will try and convince him why you deserve at least a 7.5% increase.

Hodja - To you there are many feelings of sorry - that you know this person IRL.  He may be different IRL then the douche canoe that he is here.  Keep in mind that this is him without the restrcitions of society on him - this is what he would be like without the pressures of society.  Note the long sloping forhead and the grunting.  The single white bushy eyebrow from ear to ear... the de-evolution of what may have once been a man.

And why would I want to meet him?  I have already had several emails from people who know him in real life.  Some when he got a bit of knowledge on them decided to start causing problems for them.  Would not want to have a skidmark like that in my life - I have enough problems without having some a$$hat stalking me.  He is to obsessed already.
