Washington (CNN) -- When presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney appears before Latino small-business owners in Washington on Wednesday, he'll address a group whose explosive birth rates foreshadow a seismic political shift in GOP strongholds in the Deep South and Southwest. "The Republicans' problem is their voters are white, aging and dying off," said David Bositis, a senior research associate at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, who studies minority political engagement. "There will come a time when they suffer catastrophic losses with the realization of the population changes." Over the next several generations, the wave of minority voters -- who, according to U.S. Census figures released this week, now represent more than half of the nation's population born in the past year -- will become more of a power base in places like Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia. That hold will extend across the Southwest all the way to California, experts say.

The problem is that demographic is a drain on the entitlement system ... so as the other demographic shrinks, who is going to pay for all these great socialist programs.   Don't worry fish, I don't expect an answer from you since you don't respond to questions.   That just says you do not have an original thought or are capable of thinking for yourself.

I pitty people like you ... give me more, but look for someone else to pay. Then when it ultimately fails like in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, etc there are protests about how unfair it is that there needs to be cut backs and more people pay taxes.

Why is it that all the socialist countries are in the worst shape?   Highest unemployment, highest tax rates.

Look at the US and the states that are in trouble ... long time democrat leadership. Look at the states doing well ... GOP leadership. Look at the states turning things around ... a switch from Democrat to GOP leadership - WI and NJ to name two.

Interesting. This morning Fox is reporting that Pelosi has broken with Oblamer over the definiton of middle class with respect to the Bush tax cuts. She says those making over a million a year should have the tax cuts ended. Oblamer says those over $250K should have the cuts ended.

Yeah, the future is great if we have more people that will vote for disasters like Oblamer. Think about that GF, this equals $42K of debt for each and every working American. Which is why a group of analysts recently testified to Congress that we are headed toward a fiscal cliff. Of course, the lemmings that vote for irresponsible politicians like pretty much every Democrat will run off the cliff like the sheople they are. You must be very proud......
