Rick Perry does it again...
He called Judge Sotomayor, "Montemayor"; and then suggested that there were 8 SC Justices instead of 9.
Maybe Rick Perry needs the teleprompter.

I would not put much stock in misstatments as there are a lot more important reasons to evaluate a candidate. Besides, by this measure Mr. "I've visited all 57 states" is also not ready for prime time. Some of us understood that in 2008, others have found out the hard way over the last 3 years and some will never get it......
But I will say the last thing we need is another four years of teleprompter in chief....

I am disappointed in you. When Oblamer was making flubs left and right, you defended him saying how tough it is on the campaign trail, etc, etc.
I am no Rick Perry fan, because of policy ... same reason I dislike Oblamer ... but it is so funny to see the media make a big deal out of something as silly as number of supreme court justices or the name of one ... when Oblamer has made far worst and it barely got a look ... and if you dared say something you were called a racist.
Oblamer is now going to be on 60 minutes saying it is taking longer than he thought to clean up the mess of the previous decade before he took office. Does this guy take responsibility for anything? Other than 2008 ... most people would trade the Bush deficits and unemployment for the failures of Oblamer.
Also, his administration has classified the Fort Hood shooting as "workplace violence" rather than what it was ... a terrorist attack. maybe it is because the shooter was selected by him for the homeland security transition team.

this thread isn't about Obama is it? It is about a man who continually flubs the basics of his message. I would think if you were going to criticize a Supreme Court Justice as being "activitist" you could at the very least remember her name.
I swear if a blue goat were running as a Conservative Candidate and couldn't speak, you would find a way to blame Obama.

the point is ... be equal in your critique .... I agree with you on Perry ... but felt the same about Oblamer when he was running. Yet I recall you being very defensive of him and know the media was to just let so many things pass.
If we are going to be tough on slip ups ... and we should ... then do it equally. Perry looks foolish, but so did Oblamer.
|
You are wrong. The only thing I have against GWB is the Iraqi war. I voted for him twice.
|
I am equal in my critiques. Obama has flubbed up too. They all do it to some exent, but in my opinion, Perry has turned it into an art form. And then he laughs about it. On one hand, I can appreciate he has a sense of humor to laugh at himself; on the other hand, doesn't he realize that these constant screw ups make him seem like an incompetent.
