Saw lots of jet skies going like crazy and children tubing between The Ridge and Windover. Also saw lots of logs, boards with nails and just about everything else washing up on shore. You'll never see it until you (our your children) hit it folks! Time to use some common sense?

If they want to play, the least they can do is get away from the storm damaged areas so they are less likely to run into debris.

Agreed! Just can't imagine being that stupid. I see reckless behavior in front of my dock every week, but this is reckless behavior to a new level. And it's almost without exception children they are pulling and teenagers on the jet skies. There are lots of water logged things suspended right under the surface.Wonder if marine police have reports of injuries?

A buddy and I overflew the tornado's path Sunday morning, there is not that much debris in the channels, but WHEN the stuff starts coming out of the sloughs - we are screwed. My wife and I pulled a log out of Sandy Creek Saturday afternoon, about 10" diameter, and 5' long - if you boat at night - I would suggest that you wear your PFD at all times....

as the poster stated on the flyover there is not that much debris in the lake...however the debris I saw this past weekend.....ALL HAD NAILS IN IT! One piece was a plywood sheet about 4ft x 4ft and you could not count the amount of nails sticking up. IT IS THERE! May not be the amount that was there a few weeks ago but ride around and not pay attention and my main man CAT will be getting a phone call.

All it will take is a good shift in the wind. Then it will be out in main channels again.
