I have resisted this call for a long time. I like Sessions. I have always liked him. But he has been wildly ineffective at DOJ and his belated decision to recuse himself over a nothingburger has rendered him impotent in dealing with the known collusion and campaign finance violations of the Clinton campaign simply because they involve the Russians. He simply cannot do the job that he has been hired to do. Good and decent man but in the wrong job. To think that his minions will do the right thing and aggressively route out the corruption at DOJ is simply at odds with the facts.

Gonna be tough to get someone else confirmed (as much from GOP senators as DEM) but we must have someone in charge!
Had Sessions not recused himself Oh what a difference it would be at this point in the life of our country.
The Trump election victory and the Sessions recusal are the two biggest happenings in the last two years.

Trey Gowdy better than Sessions? The only choice floating in my head.
With Trump, we have gotten used to progress and common sense.
Sessions is a general with no army.

That's the spin but it flies in the face of reality. Tell me what about Manafort or Cohen has to do with Russian collusion. Answer is nothing. And yet, Trump has no Attorney General with regard to anything related to the Mueller investigation and that is just wrong. Sessions cannot serve teh President properly because of his stupid recusal. I know your govt school didn't serve you well but the AG is the Executive Office's chief lawyer. He serves the President. If he can't do his job he needs to go.

Trump plays chess while others play checkers. Could it be that he is distancing himself from the Att. Gen. so that when the Mueller's witch hunt is over and Session starts unsealing the sealed inditements I have heard rumors about he can have hands off. Wouldn't that be interesting?

As you well know, the situation we are in today is the result of Session recusing himself which resulted in Rosenstein running the show. His appointment of Mueller as special prosecutor fits right in with all the other outrageous events that we have witnessed in the FBI and DOJ. He is using every way possible to try and get President Trump impeached to protect his own involvement in the "Witch Hunt". He advised President Trump to fire Comey and has been the major road block in Congress getting the information they have continually requested in their ongoing investigation.

"He advised President Trump to fire Comey'. Trump told him he was going to fire Comey and asked Rosenstein to write the letter. Rosenstein is a good Republican appointed by Trump. Can't Trump hire anyone who doesn't get fired or indicted?
