Thanks Diver for seeing the big picture! All Alabamians should understand the consequences of this election. We will have an opportunity to choose a replacement in 2 years. Sending a liberal to the Senate will only slow the proccess.

Yeah...thanks from the most extreme leftwing Democrats who know the stench of having an accused child molester to the senate with the endorsement of Donald Trump will be worth a pick up or hold of 2 to 4 seats next year that otherwise would remain in or shift to the soiled hands of the GOP.  Sure, the people of Alabama can send a more reasonable replacement for this scum bag in 2020, but the ''damage'', as far as the voters in the more resonable states (that is ALL the states with senate races in 2018) see it, will have already been done.  2018 based on seats turning should be a banner year for the GOP except for the stupidity of Alabama republicans!  2020, even without the ''gift'' of Roy Moore is similarly slated as a big year for the Democrats.  When the senate is sworn in in 2021 thank ''Senator'' Moore for making it a 5 to 7 seat rather than a 3 to 5 seat Democratic majority.

  You are right. Molesters should be punished to the limit of the law.  For instance:

   When Slick Willey raped juanita Brodwick it was, I believe, a capital offence in Arkansas. See what the world would have been spared if the state had done it's duty!!!!
