Modern "democracy" in the West is a bastardization of medieval feudalism in which serfs labor under the delusion that they actually voted to be vassals of the State. From time to time — especially when unworthy "lords" have caused widespread misery — the serfs begin to remember that it is they who are rightly lords over their own lives and that the State is meant to be in vassalage to their will and authority. When "elites" decry "populism," they are really ringing alarm bells for other "elites" to hear. It is the surest sign of "ruling class" fear that the people have begun to wake up from their slumber only to discover their own imprisonment.
That is when all hell breaks loose. An army of a hundred thousand IRS agents is mustered to intimidate citizens. The illusion of impartial justice is jettisoned, so that the State can quickly lock up its political enemies. The regulatory bureaucracy fines and punishes anyone not toeing the government's ever-moving statutory line. Freedoms are taken away (speech, self-defense, due process), and the theft of those freedoms is blamed on the victims. “…If they said the right things, we would not need to silence them! If they really wanted peace, then they would give the government all their guns! If they have nothing to hide, then they shouldn't object to our agents spying on them without probable cause or warrants!” When tyranny begins to choke a country, the innocent are presumed guilty until proven otherwise. The Left has always gravitated towards Dictators and Totalitarians. I've known that my whole life, but I'm glad you are finally starting to wake up and see it. The Left will gladly kiss the ass of any authoritarian, it's as if they can't get enough of being around them as the Left worships power and control.
(In the case of the Muslims, even if it means their own demise in doing so). Mainly because as they ingratiate themselves with any Totalitarian Person or Ideology, they feel they will be at the top, implementing the orders of the Totalitarians rather than at the bottom. They are too stupid and don't know enough about History, to realize that never works out and they are always the first ones eliminated. Especially when their useful idiocy period is over.
It's the classic chip on the shoulder arrogance of Lefty's, that they feel they are so intelligent, that they will be needed and that with them around, this time everything will work out. They never, ever realize that they are nothing more than tools, to be used like a toilet brush, until it's too late. What has always amazed me, is there is a never-ending supply of this type of moron, especially on American College and University Campuses. Doesn't say much about that ultra expensive learning these people are supposedly getting now, does it!

There are even some toilet brushes here on the forum, and they seem to enjoy their lot in life. Mental midgets filled with buffoonery!

The problem with the concept of the masses rising up to break the chains they are in is that the current dictators are always replaced with a new set. It isessentially the history of man on a wolrdwide basis, at least until the formation of the U.S. While we took a turn away from this for our first 250 years is appears we too are back on track to be like the rest of the world. Perfect example is the many French Revolutions.....the first replaced the King and Queen with a ruling class who were eventually replaced with a new set of ruling class at the next uprising.....rinse and repeat. Look also at Russia. The Czar is replaced by Stalin and his successors all the way to current day Putin. I am sad to say this but the majority of people desire this, even in this country.

You are right. Look at the revolution in China. Same thing. Because of human nature, it never changes.

To get high score in slope your task is to keep the ball from falling off the road and avoid obstacles.
