Suzuki has a line of four stroke otboards, but I don't see a lot of them on the lake - mostly Yamaha and Honda. I have a Yamaha 4 and am very pleased with it.
Does anyone have any experiences to relate, good or bad, with Suzuki four stroke motors?

My opinion is that the Suzy is the best outboard on the market! Nice tidy lightweight package thats clean and easy. Also uses a gear reduction to increase propshaft power with a smaller engine. Suzy was also the first to offer a 6 year warranty with no questions, thats how much they believed in their products. Yamaha and Honda are very good as well, but I would take a Suzuki any day!

I can't think of ANY that are Junk right now. They are all good products in my opinion. We look at most anything and repair. Harbor Point is good people for Suzuki and general repair. We have software for most everything, and as the market shakes out, all is left is the Cream. Call "Jackson" the owner of Sea Tow. He is running Suzuki. He is happy. Or maybe he has a different story???? We service all makes, (or at least try as best we can). Best I can tell, all are good products. Steve

When I first began researching toons and engines about 3 years ago after much research i decided on a Suzuki 250hp however had to settle for a Yamaha as wanted a bennington toon but all the local dealers only offered honda or Yamaha. Wanted Suzuki for improved torque and significantly lower weight differential.

Looked at a boat today and decided to buy - 22 footer with a Suzuki 140.....boat could be a foot or two longer but I am tired of having a bigger boat with insufficient power (9 folks on board my 25 footer with an 80 hp outboard today, some pretty good sized...GPS said I was going a barn-burning 15.5 mph WOT.). Plan to enjoy pulling skiers and tubes like thy are supposed to be pulled.
Gent I am buying from said he used Harbor Point for his service...not familiar with them, although a post above by "bjl" seems to indicate he is Harbor Point......where are you located?
