The Commerce Department has put a moritorium banning the export of US manufactured guns to anyone other than Ukaine or Israel.  

This got a small article in the news media.  I cannot imagine what this Administration thinks it is doing, other than hurting US manufacturing and loss of US jobs.  There are literally dozens of foreign gun manufacturers from just about every country, so what are they possibly thinking?  It is the job of the Commerce Department to promote US business in foreign countries.  They also have control of the export control process.

Hmmm....am amazed they have the power to even do that.  I suspect there will be lawsuits and this will be vacated.  However, this is yet another example of Congress abdicating their legislative power to the administrative state.  The Democrats like that because they know the administrative state is 90% Democrats.  And Republicans like it because they can blame the administrative state instead of them doing their jobs.  So we have to turn to the courts to rein in the administrative state.

At least this time the COTUS ( Corpse of the US ) just did an export ban and not a import ban.
