After reviewing numerous possible pool sites, I have set up one at Yahoo which seems to be pretty straight forward with a minimum of inconveniences.  Hopefully, we can get most of our regular players and some new ones into this new pool.  I will list the important details to assist you in getting in the pool:

**Name of Pool:  Lakes Palooza 2016

**Group ID:  3085   

**Password:   palooza16   (The Group ID and Password are the most important items...you will not be able to search by pool name.  I have set this up as a private pool so jot down the  password for entry)

What to do:

1. Click on the link above.  Click on "join a group" and  use the group id  3085 to find us...at some point here, you will have to be logged on to Yahoo so if you do not already have a Yahoo ID, get one and log in.  I will be posting more info regularly and if you need my assistance, e-mail me at gregnogg@ yahoo.com    or click on my email link at this forum.  Also, post here if my instructions are not working right...nowadays, I just be shootin' from da hip....hope to see you in the pool!

...just some additional notes here.  Our games each week will be all games involving AP Top 25 teams.  The deadline for picking each week will be approx 5 minutes prior to the kickoff of our FIRST scheduled game.  Games scheduled earlier than Friday of any week will not be included which is good in those cases where the spread is unusually late being published.  NOTE TO NEW PLAYERS: this is strictly a free pool--no money involved at all...just all for fun.  Those who have registered/entered the pool and have comments to make to help others, please do so as setting up a pool is sometimes easier than finding/joining one.  The games will be available soon for picking the first week...I will post when that happens.
