What would be the present day state of affairs in our country if only one-tenth of the time the "news media" has devoted to "bashing" President Trump had been used to "broadcast" to the world a "list" of the positive changes that have taken place over the last two years? When you consider that the general public has received practically "no" information about the changes that have been made because the news media has "withheld" such information. About the only "source" of changes has been Fox News and a few non-biased radio stations and newspapers. What percent of people today actually read newspapers and listen to the radio? If you don't watch the major TV Nerworks or rely on cellphones you only get one side of the issue, and since President Trump's election about 90% of the information provided has been from the "liberal" left.

I think people hear so much negative, they believe it.  Maybe the vast majority want a do-nothing president, but looks good and sounds good making speeches.  Remember the Obama apology tour?  

I really think that our media has jumped the shark - their job used to be just to report the news - not try to shape opinions, offer one sided analysis or fill their time with so-called "experts" and has beens.  And people are so hooked into social media, they no longer think for themselves.

i think the mainstream media does cover the "good things" you think Trump has done. I know about the tax cut for the wealthiest Americans (Trump himself told us and his Mar a Lago members -- see what a great think I did for you, I also know membership at mar a Lagos costs around $200,000 plus annual membership fees. On that topic I would also like to say if he is going to advertise it as the winter White House he should open it to the public. The tariffs which are supposed to be a good thing were so damn good the taxpayers are having to bail out the farmers, but the bailout didn't include all the trickle down folks who lost jobs and or full time jobs because we are not shipping soybeans, etc. to China. Think longshoreman, shippers. The great health plan better than the Affordavble Care Act (Obamacare) never materialized. Most Americans are largely in favor of insurers covering pre-existing conditions and keeping college students on parents coverage until they are 26. Some Republicans are misrepresenting their stance on these two things to get re-elected. Nominating someone to the Supreme Court who isn't too sure whether a woman's right to choose health options for her own body might seem like a good thing. I don't think so just like I'm quite sure you wouldn't want anyone telling you how to care for your own health. The federal debt rose 17 percent last year partly because of the tax cuts. Businesses largely have not passed any tax cuts on to their employees in better wages thus more spending by the middle class has not happened. Also, Mitch McConnell gave a speech last week and said we have to cut social security, Medicare and Medicaid because debt is out of control -- wonder why that wasn't an issue when he gave himself that tax cut. I don't think anyone being truthful would say the Clintons have been investigated for 30 years, Bill lied about consensual sex and he lost his law license. Nothing else. Benghazi was investigated by Republican house and senate. She did nothing wrong. If you want to live in a dictatorship where former political opponents are jailed, I guess you think trump has done good there also. Trump has encouraged violence at his rallies. I've heard him say knock him out I'll pay your legal fees. Although I think when some supporter actually asked him to pay his campaign wouldn't but I may be wrong. See, main stream media does cover these "good things" just many of us citizens don't think they are so good for everyone. I didn't mean to write so much but hey, I don't think I called anyone a name or denigrated anyone's patriotism.
