“The White House has not confirmed whether the president is interested in taking any of those calls.”

I think it would gracious of him to take a call from Biden but he shouldn't give Biden a photo op.  Frankly, given Biden's cognitive decline I can't imagine he has much to add to the equation.  Every time he has spoken he has demanded that Trump do things he has already done.

I don't question the facts but the source is rather interesting. Here is an important question asked of Trump during one of the press conferences by an OAN reporter....

It was March 19, just twelve days ago. After a 48-hour cycle of relentlessly ignorant analysis that President Trump's use of the phrase "Chinese Virus" to describe the COVID-19 virus that clearly developed, spread and promulgated from the Wuhan province in China was in some way racist and put Asian-Americans in danger of violent reprisals, OAN reporter Chanel Rion asked the president "Do you consider the use of the term 'Chinese food' racist?"

The owner of OAN is a big Trump donor and his reporters set up Trump with soft ball questions. She was not authorized to be in the press conference and the Press Association voted and threw her out. So much for OAN.

I think Biden is hoping to remain relevent during the crisis.  I don't see Trump talking to Biden or Obama about the virus and really why should he?  The Ebola thing and even the H1N1 have no comparison to what is happening now.
