Good gracious! I know we were crazy to get out on Saturday but even so, lots of crazier people out there!  Boats cutting in front of us, zigzagging in front of us, young boy on wave runner came right in front of our path. Huge boats making huge waves. Sitting in porch on Sunday and saw two young boys standing on edge of each side of boat while it was running at a good speed with obviously dad driving. No sense whatsoever. We are staying in today!

Last few years Labor Day seems crazier than the 4th or Memorial Day.

I was going to start this by saying "you will not believe this" but I am sure you will.  A wake boat with a tube attached to the stern of the boat (no rope) hauling kids at high speed. Waverunners hauling tubes with no one watching the tubes.  An idiot came within 10' of my dock at moderate speed throwing waves over my seawall.

Where does it go from here?

Hopefully the season is almost over.

A friend of mine called me to tell me what he had just seen. A rental pontoon boat puling a tube in the Ridge area. 4 kids on tube and none of them had a life jacket on.   REALLY!!!!

Monday I was working on a floating boat dock taking a sign off the top of the dock. I was standing on the back of a pontoon to reach the sight. An idiot pulling a skier came within 20 ft of the floating dock. I yelled at him to get out in the channel and he yelled back at me and gave me the finger. I would have been in the water if not for a good hold on the rail I was working on. This was in the Point Cloxson area. I got a good look at the boat and the idiot driving it.
