Last night, a huge tree on my neighbors property fell across the road and took out our power.  The tree fell about 10 yards from the end of my driveway.  Alabama Power responded quickly to my call to report a downed power line, and by 11 last night our power was restored.  Last night was really cold, and those guys were out there working for 4 hours.  And Charter was out there first thing this morning, restoring our cable service.

Glad they got you up and going.  They do work in some crazy conditions, but freezing and blustery wind has to be among the worst.  Overnight tonight and Thursday will be brutal.

It is amazing we do not have more problems with the brittle pine limbs and hard wind.

I never bitch about my Power or water bill here at lake--just like when my kids were at SAMFORD--the education & life experiences & friends they acquired there were well worth the $$$$$
