l honestly do not understand the mentality of the night boaters who run with their dock lights on when out on the water. l guess they do not relize the lawsuit that occure if they are in a boat collision. NEWS FLASH>>> IT IS ILLEGAL!!!! lf the marine patrol is underfunded and short on money why then are they not out at night on thel lake? They would make a mountain of revenue from these folks who are ignorant and dangerous. July 3rd we where out in sandy creek and saw boats with docking lights on, boats with multi colored lights flashing, some boats with no stern lights, wave runners with port, starboard lights only and even 2 boaters using flashlights to signal people because they had NO LIGHTS!!! The marine patrol on this lake is a joke.... hanging around the rock to watch the bikinis and checking for bui boats, that usually are filled with hot chicks is not the only responsibility of the marine police. 32 years on this lake and NEVER,NEVER have l seen one at night.

Well if they are underfunded they can't pay overtime so that's fairly simple. Also I saw three different bots pulled over after dark Sat and Sun night

The water patrol is busy chasing and pulling over bots while all the idiots driving boats slide like Hillary and the security review.

I have only seen Ned out at night once, and I am glad he did not see me. I was fishing a pier light from a jonboat with questionable lights, and he was closer to the dock than a wakeboat in the narrows.
