Claims that Biden fell asleep while meeting with the new Prime Minister.

He has ticked off the French to the point that they recalled their Ambassador, for scuddling their deal with the Australians.  Could it be that Joe is taking an "America First" attitude?  Now they are trying to say that the French submarines were "substandard" to what the US offered.  I guess they misinterpreted what Joe meant when he said "America's back".... So Macron is not his best buddy anymore either.

I'm not sure Dementia Joe is any more articulate or capable when he is awake than when he is sleeping.  France is PO'd because we undercut them by signing a deal with the Aussies for nuke subs versus the French diesel powered ones.  Also read that there were all sorts of delays and problems with the French product but not sure if this is true.

I could frankly care less whether the French are mad about this and if we get to make the subs here in the U.S. I am all for it.  But when you layer this with all the other foreign policy disasters, including the latest where they have finally admitted they killed some guy getting water along with a bunch of kids instead of ISIS-K terrorists, it just looks bad.  Recall most of the European leaders hated Trump because he made them pay for a greater share of their own defense costs cutting into their social welfare spending.  It's not always a bad thing when they are mad at us about something.

I agree.  But Trump was scewered for saying America First, and then Biden went over to Europe and said "all is well and America is back" and then turns around and screws the French.

I'm glad that there will be American jobs as a result of the sub sale. But I enjoy watching Biden step all over himself.

Watching Hiden screw up every public thing he tries to do…….knowing S. Rice and o-BAMMIE are standing back stage pulling every string and then watching Hiden screw it up.  Can you imagine the frustration of trying to prop up a complete idiot.

I can't say I enjoy watching him make a mess of things but I certainly don't feel sorry for him or the wizards behind the curtain that really running things.  Imagine how nice it is for them to not have to be responsible for a litany of awful decisions.  I do think we better understand how bad things were under Obama as these are all the same people that were advising him.  The difference is he was immune from the consequences because he wasn't an old, senile white racist.....he was the Messiah, the anointed one.  Fact is we had pretty much the same stupidity but the govt media worked in triple overtime to cover it up.  For Dementia Joe, not so much.....in my opinion because they want to be the queenmaker by forcing him out so they can take credit for the first female POTUS...and one of color to boot.  That is their end game and I think they are getting weary of waiting for Joe to resign so they are going to force him out.  They underestimated the ambition of Dr. Jill, a doctor you know who should be addressed as such.

Just read an interesting article that Europe, after watching the Afghan disaster, is thinking about going alone on its own military defense.  It's about dang time as there is no reason we should be paying for the defense of Europe.  They are rich and populous and for sure should be paying the bulk, if not all of their defense.  That will save the U.S. billions each year that can be better spent elsewhere or better yet, reduced spending.....I know, that latter will never happen.

I thought Trump was right about NATO, that they needed to shoulder more of the burden of the cost.  And France would not hesitate to screw us over if there was a defense deal to be had.  You can be sure there will be a "give me" to France to smooth this over.  But I think that the Europeans have a right to be annoyed when they were participating in Afghanistan and Biden just arbitarily picked a date and left all of them off balance.  The truth is that we do need them, but it should be more of an equal alliance.
