Now you all see why she dropped out of the primary before the first vote was cast.  And she was the primary prosecutor of Dementia Joe on race and sexual harrassment.......sure ended his run for Prez, eh?  Thank God she wasn't at the Nueremberg trials.....they would have all gotten off.  And how do we know he won?  Two pieces of evidence:

1.  The govt media went from this is the most important VPOTUS debate ever to VPOTUS debates don't matter in the span of two hours

2. The govt media chastised Pence for mansplaining and beating up on a poor defenseless woman

Remember folks, while Pence may be a heartbeat away, Kamala is sure to take over as President.  Do you want her in charge of our economy, foreign affairs (not the kind that propelled her into the limelight) and national defense?  That's your choice on November 3rd.  It isn't Biden or Trump it's Kamala Harris, AOC, etc. or Trump/Pence.

And by the way, she should never agree to a split screen again.  Her head nodding, smirking and all the faces were so off putting, especially for women.  Twitter is ablaze with comparisons to Algores two big debate fails wrapped into one.

Neither one whipped the other off the floor. They both refused to answer some key questions and the format did not allow the moderator to follow up. To suggest otherwise is another example of a Martini Fake Post.

I didn't watch the whole thing, since neither side was going to answer the questions posed, but were intent on getting their talking points across.  Pence played very well the old Washington adage "When they ask you a question that you don't want to answer, answer one that you do want to answer."

I thought Kamala came across as smug and the facial expressions were over the top.  I would have been put off by her no matter which side she was on.  I cannot imagine her as President and I think that they chose wrong - but you know, I believe that Obama chose her and he lives with a woman and her facial expressions too - so maybe it doesn't bother him.  

I thought it was very telling just how juvenile Biden is, when the best he can do is come up with a joke about the fly that landed on Pence.  Biden is no mental giant for sure.  

I always find Pence to be a bit of an enigma.  He sticks to the talking points and never goes off message.  It would be interesting to talk to him, just to get a sense of who he is, beyond the talking points.  I've always thought he and Trump were a strange combination, but I guess Trump picked him for the Evangelical vote?  

From the 45 minutes I watched, I thought Pence won - he never went off message and he never got flustered or really showed any frustration with her.  

LOL, I love when the democrats now talk about their "COVID plan".  That ship has sailed and the only plan needed now is to figure out how to get the vaccine out to the people in an orderly manner.  BTW - did you notice that Pence really got her about the Trump tax cuts and how Biden said he would do away with them on Day 1.  She couldn't seem to grasp that by cancelling the tax cuts that they are in fact, raising taxes.  If I made over $400K a year - and that's not all that hard to do with two professional couples, I would be worried.  I also noted that she was talking about the "free college" and "free daycare" and all those freebies, which for anyone with half a brain would know that the money for those freebies has to come from raising taxes.

Yes I did and everyone with an ounce of honesty thought Pence crushed her.  He laid out the case for voting for them and she made the case why they can't be trusted with the economy, etc.  Ever wonder why there were no polls reported about who won the debate?  I don't.  She was as bad last night as she was in the primaries.

Michael Tracey, and I quote, "If Joe Biden wins this election it will be in spite of Kamala Harris -- awful debate performance and awful VP choice overall.  The way Kamala says "I'm speaking" -- as if any back-and-forth in what's supposed to be a "debate" is some kind of affront -- reminds me of an excessively domineering teacher in Middle School.  Kamala's incoherence on China is embarrassing."

And I quote about the reaction to Kamala's piss poor performance, "I wish people would stop explaining every meh debate performance by a woman as a function of gender. Yes, there are challenges, but Elizabeth Warren is a good debater! Not all women are great debaters being held back by their sex--some of us, like some men, are just bad debaters."  And another snippet I liked, "And you didn't see him [Pence] over there rolling his eyes and doing exaggerated high-school-theatrical "this is my disdainful face" mugging. Harris' X chromosomes did not force her to do that."

There is an idea that women will support another woman, just because she is a woman.  But the funny thing is that I think women hold other women to a higher standard, because we know what is at stake.  Joe Biden is saying that Pence was intimadated by a "strong woman", but she didn't come across as strong - if she were strong, her command of the facts would have been amazing.  Even when you don't like Elizabeth Warren, she is really great at presenting her ideas without coming across as smug.  The eye rolls, and the smirks and that generally smug attitude is not what women admire in another woman.
