Just read that McMaster may be out as National Security Advisor and his replacement may be....get ready for this Hound...John Bolton.
I believe overall that DJT has been good for the country. The recent shakeups, with Tillerson being fired and Pompeo nominated to replace him, have been good. It worries me, though, that Kelly may get the axe and Bolton may join the Cabinet replacing McMaster.
Before you soil your shorts, Archie and Goofy, I am not ready to give up the thought that DJT has been good for this country. He has. The only constant in life is change, and my philosophy has been deal with it because it won't go back. We will just have to see if JB really does become NSA and if so, how he acts.

Putting John Bolton anywhere in a position of responsibility is ominous. I have been in meetings with him, and he really is an asshat. I hat the the rumors are flying the McMaster will be leaving. I was sorry to see Tillerson leave. He may not have been the most effective Secretary of State, but I think he is an honest person, and as far as we know, he didn't go off on any tangents.

Tilerson may be a nice guy, but he was a bit of a loose cannon. He couldnt seem to get in synch with trumps goals, whether because of poor communications or, more likely, his own ego. Its not personal, its business.

Perhaps true. But I think he took his position seriously and it's a difficult position to be in when the boss is making foreign policy on the fly.
Today I hear that Kelly might be out soon. I'm wondering if Trump is having a problem with the Generals. While he trusts them, they are all about order and I don't think Trump is comfortable with order - he is clearly someone who is more comfortable with things being in a bit of an uproar. Also, understand that Kelly is not a fan of Ivanka and Jared. I wonder if Trump is the kind of boss where "last one out, wins".
I agree that a lot of things Trump is doing is helping the country. I think he is on target about the economy. But not everything thrives in chaos, and in my opinion, there is something to be said for a long term strategy. Yet, I see Trump reacting to everything as it comes up. And I am a bit disturbed by some of the speeches he gives in what he considers private venues. Perhaps it would be better if Republicans could come up with a strong candidate to run against him in 2020. Maybe he is a short term fix - a catalyst- to get things going, but not a long term solution.
