And apparently I'm not alone as the ratings really stink.  Between Vonn saying Trump wasn't her president to the gay skater and his spat with Pence to the 50,000 condoms to the glorication of Kim Jon Mentally Un's murderous sister by nBS to.......oh never mind.  I am just not going to watch a second of it.  I watch sports to get away from politics and I could give a rats behind what some athlete thinks about the President or gay marriage or whatever.  We watch them to be entertained by their athletic skill.  Being a good skier doesn't exactly qualify someone to lecture me on government.  Shut up and ski...or skate....

I only watched one - I wanted to see Shaun White do the half pipe.  It was thrilling.  Instead I watched the Westminster Dog Show and cursed the judges.  Talk about political.

I never said a thing about liberals being unpatriotic. But it is funny that you interpret their actions as just that. Apparently that's your interpretation of what their actions mean.  As for me, I just think they're wrong to inject their political or societal beliefs into sports events. Quite frankly, were it not for their athletic skill they wouldn't even have a forum to spout their nonsense because no one would care what they say.

But I did find it disgusting what I read about the fawning coverage by nBS and cnnBS of the sister of a murderous dictator who starves his people and threatens to use nuclear weapons against us.  Apparently these sick media outlets are on the side of the pot-bellied rocket boy and not our country. All because of TDS. So not a second will I watch. As far as I'm concerned they can go to he!!.

Yep, criticize the Vice President and be mediocre but gay and you are guaranteed a job at nBS.  If I were writing parody I couldn't have come up with something so absurd.  Despite the tanked ratings the execs at nBS will all be congratulating themselves for their sensitivity. Then when people lose their jobs at the network because of lousy financial performance they'll whine about the evils of capitalism. 

Oh, and Mr. Rippon, I have good news for you.  You and Lindsey Vonn don't have to worry about turning down an invite to the White House.  Losers don't get invited.

I don't know why they hired him since they already have "experts" providing commentary.  Perhaps the plan is to have him cover future ice skating compeitions.  But you are probably right - they feel like they have to have more gays in the reporting.

Goofy, Goofy, Goofy.....you are so silly.  I don't own an AK-47, I own an AR-15.  As for Rippon's gayness, I could frankly care less about his bizarre sexual proclivities.  I don't want to know about it, I don't want to hear about, I just don't care that he is a rump ranger any more than I would care if some Olympic hockey player decided his or her heterosexual orientation was their main identity and announced it to the world.  He is the one wrapping himself in the rainbow flag.  I just wish he would shut up and skate. There is a reason homosexuals have a much higher incidence of mental health issues.  Anyone that has their sexual orientation as the primary aspect of their identity has a problem.  Sort of like the mental illness called liberalism or progressivism.

And I don't care whether he takes the job or not.  It is just emblamatic of nBS and the rest of the govt media to offer a mediocre skater a job because of his sexual orientation.  Just one more reason not to watch and as the ratings continue to collapse it seems I'm not alone.

They already have one former skater who is pretty out there as a gay, and has been providing commentary with some woman that medaled at another Olympics.  

I have absolutely no problem with being gay because I believe that people are born this way.  But when I see a young man with royal blue manbun and dressed in a kimomo, I wonder why a news station wants to put this out there.  Rippon skated a good program the other night, but did not get a medal.  But he is an "in-your-face" gay and I don't understand it.  I know a lot of gay people that lead a normal life and don't feel the need to put their sexuality out there as the basic component who they are.
