I was approached today by a middle-age woman in the Walmart parking lot who said she and her husband had a fight and she asked for $25.00 so she could get a motel room. I sympathasized with her but I didn't want to embarass her and ask where I might get a motel room for her. What might have happened if I told her I would give her a $100.00 if she would tell a news reporter that Trump had groped her ten years ago? Keep in mind that Paula Jones received $85,000.00 to settle her claim against Bill.

Yeah, i have seen the same people begging for money in Walmart parking lots on different days. It is sad....
The same lady approached me 3 days in a row and had no idea she had approached me 3 times with the same story. She needed money for food, but somehow did not want me to go in Walmart and buy her food. I would go to Target but they are targetting that store's parking lot as well.
I know that wasn't your main point in bringing it up, but it has gotten to where if someone was really needy, there have been too many con artists that have tainted my perspective.

So, did you give her $25? Just shows their lack of imagination in trolling the Walmart parking lot - you would think they would try Dillards.

I do believe that these women are being paid to say that Trump groped them. This whole thing stinks of Clinton sleaziness.

You should have offered her a room - but you would go and take care of it yourself to give her a place to stay - then watch her fury when you dont just hand over the cash.

No, I told her that I symphasized with her situation but at the present time I was not in a position to help her. I was in my old pickup truck which I was having a problem with it starting and I didn't want to get any farther away from home. Also, as I was leaving the parking lot I saw her approach a woman who also a turned her down.

I had a guy approach me at Radio Shack and ask me if I could give him $2.50. I told him no and he asked me if I could give him $1.25. I turned him down again. when I walked into the store, I told the man behind the counter about it. He laughed and said the guy was giving me a discount, because he had asked them for $3.00.

Understand what you mean. My mother a few years back went out of her way to help some people who were always seen around town wearing rags and just in really bad place, they always talked about trying to get jobs and there was always a issue. She spent several hundred dollars on some really nice clothes and some food and dropped it off for them where they were staying in a run down place. When she was going to drop off another load a local person from a church told her they had being doing the same for them for years and everything went to the pawn shop till they just quit attempting to help them.
Went by the pawn shop and sure enough everthing was on the rack.
Reminds me also of a story on Fox 6 about 10 years ago about guy who used to panhandle at the bottom of the 65 South ramp at University in Birmingham. At the end of his shift with his God Bless sign he went to the gas station a block away to get into his lexus and drove to Mt. Brook to spend the evening with his wife and kids. He had lost his job at some point but then found out he could make 125K+yearly on the street corner so why go back to work.

Hey buddy...."125K+yearly on the street corner so why go back to work." When I was doing it the best year was $82,565. I wonder if it was a hot babe in a bikini that was asking for money...$125,000 that's alot....probably worked 7 days without any vacation. At least I took 2 weeks off and headed to Palm Beach and did well on one particular corner.
It used to that some jokester would ask "do you take credit cards". Now, an iPhone and a credit card attachment is changing the entire industry. I am sure you wil agree technology is great.
