Thanks guys, I have just learned how to do this right. You know, when it's done in the factory it's done in reverse, the clear is put down then the glitter is sprayed into it then the fiberglass buildup and on and on. So it takes a lot of clear coat to do it from the inside out.  If you have the money and the will, it can be done but it's not cheep. a normal basboat top half will be around $4000 and 100Hr's of time. But, it can be done.

Lord it is good to hear from you.  thought you had forgot about all your friends here.  Have a pontoon that needs new graphics.  Boss lady is tired of the old stuff.  You interested or have a good recomendation.  Old graphics need to be sanded off and new vinyl designed and installed.

I hope that is gel coat and not clear coat because it I s not compatible with the original gel coat and will peel off in about a year maybe more maybe less.
