I stow my 24' pontoon at the Ridge Marina. In my current situation, I need to stow it all year, checking it out when we get to the lake--every 2-3 weeks.
The Ridge folks have been very easy to deal with and I can't really complain except for price. My storage is $149/month. The rationale I have used is convenience. I can walk to the marina in 10 minutes to get my boat/walk back to the house after taking it in.
That said, I continue to see very positive comments about Anchor Bay--which is not as close for sure, a 15 minute boat ride/15 minute car ride. My question is: is their price MCH better? Is their service noticeably better? Can they overcome the convenience factor--ie, boat delivery/pick up (I doubt this, and even if available, I would expect it to be cost prohibitive)
To those who may know and take the time to respond--Thank you!

Best way to find out cost is to call them and ask. Convenience has its price and often trying to save a few bucks by justifying that the savings is worth the inconvenience usually is a losing proposition. Its like buying a pair of shoes or a suit that is one size too small but is on sale is great until you go to wear them and they are just too uncomfortable. They then hang it in the closet until you finally admit you screwed up and donate them to Goodwill.
Weigh the convenience against the savings before you decide. Coming to the lake as you do is all about enjoying yourself with little or no hassle.

I don't think that even CAT could build a boat that could make it up that hill from the river, so unless they have a great pet beaver that will let him ride on the lift on the way to launch - not sure he would be interested.
