Apparently the distinguished and newest Senator Al Franken decided to make a b*&% h&%# of himself when T Bone Pickens met with Democrat senators about Pickens' plans for energy generation from wind. Franken elected to bring up Pickens' support for the Swiftboat ads against Kerry.
According to a source, the wealthy oil and gas magnate and author of “The First Billion Is the Hardest” stepped up to introduce himself to Franken in a room just off the Senate Floor after the lunch ended
Franken, who was seated talking to someone else, did not stand when Pickens said hello. Instead, Franken began to berate him about the billionaire’s financing of the Swift Boat ads in 2004.
According to a source, the confrontation grew heated.

I am proud of Franken speaking to Picken like Ann Coulter would were Picken a Democrat. Republicans worship Coulter and Limbaugh but when a Democrat speaks their mind it is terrible. Give me a break.

yeah, yeah yeah ... the difference is ... as hard as it is for you to understand is that Limbagh and Coulter are NOT elected officials. When they do speak out, they are talking about current events, not something from 5 years ago.
Now go back to sleep because your comparison is NOT even close to be relavant.

If he lept to his feet and embraced him, Franken would have been accused of pandering to industry. LOL
This story doesn't pass the common sense test and I don't think it's true, no matter who reported it. I'm not a big fan of Franken, either.
