James Carville, critical of Obama's leadership - is this not unusual.

Typical Carville crap where he sees everything in light of the politics. So he doesn't really care what the administration does, just that the Messiah visits Louisiana. What a bunch of unmitigated hypocrites.
Bush was slammed mercilessly because it took 3 day for FEMA to mobilize after Katrine and yet here we are a month and a half into this and where is the outcry from the left? As for me, I think all the federal government can do is screw things up. Their response or lack thereof is just fine with me although all the hearings and the other political excrement just distracts BP from the job at hand, plugging the leak. Of course, it took the Coast Guard a week to approve of their latest attempt but will they be held accountable for the delay? Nope, because it might reflect poorly on dear leader who we all obfuscated the truth about in order for him to be elected.

BP is spending and losing a huge amount of money every hour the leak is not fixed. They may be culpable in the events leading up to the blowout, but they can't be blamed for not putting forth the effort to address the disaster.
The real tragedy of this event is the fact that we are miles offshore and miles underwater searching for oil when we could be onshore and at more manageable depths to confront such an accident. But then I guess we are saving those onshore reserves for somebody's grandchildren. My question would be 'whose grandchildren?"

I think it is fun to watch even liberal democrats turning on Obama. He is a disaster and it is interesting how some in his own party is turning on him. This was predicted.

Carville is a political strategist, so everything for him is about the politics and the spin. He is known for being controversial and saying whatever pops into his head. It's what he gets paid for and why they have him on talk shows. If he wasn't, then they wouldn't and he would be out of a job. Besides, he is from Louisiana. I believe he and his wife moved back there a few years ago. I guess he doesn't want to get tossed out of the state.
