God created Adam and left him in the Garden of Eden. When he came back to check on him, Adam told God he got lonely between Hs visits. God empathized with Adam and explained that as God time had no meaning but He now realized it did to Adam so He made Adam an offer. He explained that he would create a companion for Adam that would keep him company, tend to all of his needs, physical, spiritual, sexual, whatever they may be. This companion would also take care of the Garden of Eden and make sure there would always be a bountiful harvest and Adam would never want for anything again. This sounded great to Adam so he asked God what would he have to give up to get this companion? God thought for a moment and said, "well it will be expensive, but He would only take an arm and a leg in trade". Adam thought for a moment and then said, "well what can I get for a rib?"
