Had Stripernut and one of his prof buddies on the boat Friday. Water was murky & bite was slow but his buddy caught a 28# beauty. Going on the wall back in Arkansas. Close to being SHOW TIME

Would someone please message me through this site or email me at info @ lakemartinvoice dot com when the stripes have come up to jaybird or elkahatchee or both? Don't worry, I am not going to catch many, if any at all. I just want to try and catch a small one (or twelve) by your standards (10#?) on my fly rod.  I will release any I catch.

Been out several times the last two weeks and haven't seen much around Wind Creek, Elk, Snake Island, or Sandy. Water has been muddy and is still stained pretty good. Went to Middle Pond today and picked up a nice 19lb within 15 minutes of being there this afternoon and then nothing after that. Water was 62 degrees and pretty clear. Saw a bunch on the sonar and had some real nervous salties but no bites. Perfect day for fishing though. 65 degrees, sunny, and some cold beer with a little fish slime. If anyone in the Auburn area needs some salties email me @ barberau@yahoo.com. I know the bait shop in Opelika won't have any for a while and the ones I have now have been in the tank for almost a month. They're still good as new but need to get eaten. I'll give them to you for cost.

I saw a few guys fishing from the rocks at Elkahatchee today but didn't look too active.
