Saturday was a fine day on Martin. The water temp is up around 65-66 at the surface and wasn't as stained as the previous week. The bite seemed slow with only five boated in four hours. All but one was in the 2# range and all but one caught on a bomber style crank bait that runs @ 10' with a yellow underside. They ignored most everything else I showed 'em. No surface action, no schools on the graph, no bait balls either. They may be pressed up against shore. If so, the bank beaters probably had a field day. Good luck!

Went out last Wednesday with Matt Peck (benegofit of hiring a contractor that is also a good fisherman) and we hit the stripers quick. Had 2 in the boat in 15 mins and had 6 caught in 2-3 hours. All 10-12 lbs and all released. Same place, bait, process that I use on my own but for some reason I always come up empty.
