If you are a nocturnal person, certainly better than during the day for both stripers and bass.

When the water heats up into the 80s, you might want to change the species you're targeting. During the day stripes and spots get lethargic and seem to hang low in the cool water. That isn't the case with cats. We've been doing pretty well the last couple of weekends with jugs. Give that a try unless you prefer to wait for the water to cool down next month.

Mountain Man, how long are the lines on your jugs if you dont mind me asking? I made some for guntersville that are 5-15 ft. Do you run them at night?

I have 10 red colored jugs (12" of noodle) set up for 15' and another 15 green jugs set for 20'. Having different colors for different depths works out pretty well. Currently using #2 cicle hooks and a stout split shot so they can spool down on their own. We have been working large sandy flats no more than 25' deep and doing pretty well lately. It seems like the bite slows down to nothing after 10:00 though.
I've never gone at night, but was asked to join a night time jugging tournament last week. Obviouoly, there are folks out there who go chase jugs after dark.
Good luck!

Thanks Mountain Man. I did make some more jugs over the weekend for 20 and 25 ft. Thanks again for the info.
