I ended up going to GA to buy another Sea Camper for parts and later restoration rather than going to California.

The trip over was fine but on the way back in Warner Robins GA the lugs on one wheel were not tight I guess stupid me did not check that. It was a race to 2 Advanced auto parts for lug studs and then to a Tractor supply for a wheel and rim all while the boat sat in the parking lot of Wallgreens on State 96. I am sure some people thought what is that thing?

But all in all a safe trip with the help from God. 500 Mls total trip.

I believe I would restore that one. I watched your video of the other one. Does the boat have wooden stringers? If so are you replacing them. I would think that if it has wodden stringers that they are completely rotten.

Not a bad looking boat, considering. Good luck on it and keep us posted.

Yes I am going to restore this one at some point. This boat is full of water also, they all are now after 20 up to 30 + years of windows leaking. It's all going to need to come apart too.

It won't be long before you will have a Sea Camper Museum and can charge admission. LOL
My ex-inlaws are from Macon. I spent a number of years traveling back and forth. I don't envy you having to make that ride.

Now that's thinking! LOL

No, truth be known this is a parts boat for the 1969. Down the road I will do something with it and sell it maybe, but for now. It's just a old bones boat.
