My brother, 71, is coming from out of state to visit next week.  I want to take him fishing on Lake Martin.

While I cruise the internet insearch of an answer, does anyone know what we need for him to fish legally and point me to the appropriate citation?

Didnt read the link but I am pretty sure he will fall into the senior age category and not need a license.  I would read to be sure.

All non-residents 16 years of age and older must have a license to fish in the state of Alabama.

Only residents over the age of 65 are exempt from having to purchase a license.

I think there is some age restrictions for some states including Lake Martin. So your brother is most senior angler and I don't think so he need a fishing license.
