I can find a million places online to get the natural color, but the rope we have is a darker brown. Several places that have the manila rope warn against certain chemicals on the manila. They say that it may deteriorate it. I noticed that the sample you loaned me is brown all the way thru. No one seems to know what would be used to stain or dye it without harming it!

I saw a rope call UN Manilla maybe that can be the color you are looking for ????????

I will check around here in Bham. I will keep you posted on my findings. See you this weekend? We have our 4D ultrasound Monday morning in Opelika. Little Miss Emery did not want to work with us last Friday. I will bring some pics by to show you.
