Cat:
Here are my questions:
1) Have far down from its normal level (based on past 5 years) was the Alabama River down in say mid July up around Montgomery. That is, the area you are use to boating.
2) How far down from its normal level is the Alabama River down today.
Your best guess is fine.
Just curious, thanks.

How far down during summer???? Pretty far. The Daytona stayed home on most weekends. We got the Donzi out. As for now? well, it is a little higher. Not back to normal, but navigable. Hope this answers questions. Steve.

How many feet in mid summer and how many feet is the Alabama River down today. Based on the areas you are using to boating.
Your best guess is fine.
Thanks

O.K. Look, here is my guess. 2-3+ down during summer. (A lot less than Lake Martin) but still way down, I mean, it is the River, and yall was trying to keep water in Martin, Jordan and wherever else.! Now, it is 1.5-2.5+ down. Thanks for the relief, from wherever is came from, (water wars, God or etc.) It is still way down (by normal standards) but somewhat a little more usable. Is it normal... NO!!!!. NO!!!!!!. NO!!!! there is grass growing on the banks, and around docks just as it is at your house on Lake Martin!!!! We have no Sandbars to hang out on, because most of them need the grass cut. Would be a good idea if we planted sod there, and manicured, mowed and fertilized so that we could be like normal. Ain't gonna happen this year. Lets hope for better results next year. I am not sure of what information you want. IT has not been great in the river this year either. That is another story, but complaining about it will do nothing. Help me with this??? Steve
