I was in the area today so I decided to ride by an check out the boat ramp and see if it was still usable. Man was it!!! When I pulled up and counted there were 2 vehicles on the ramp and 13 IN LINE WAITING. The line wrapped all the way around the lot. I doubt it has ever been that crowded. Granted this was at about 5:30 - 6:00pm which I guess would be rush hour.

I was there also. Never seen it that crowded either. Took the boat out for the rest of the year. Only about 3ft left in front of my floating dock.

Well believe it or not the lake is down this far every year. Just not this early. There are a lot of bass tournys that launch from the public ramp. Normaly at this time there is still plenty of water for the summer crew to play in but unfortunately this year has robbed folks of their normal summer leisure and fun. If you want to learn the lake, get a bass fisherman to take you around and you will see it as you have never before. I've seen this particular ramp full in december and january. Soon we will see how long we can launch from it because the water is supposed to drop several more feet. Sorry folks, it is what it is.
