Dementia Don, the old 78 year old ex President, has shown once again his disrespect for our military. At a speech in NJ, he compared the Congressioal Medal of Honor to the Civilian Medal of Freedom. The guy who avoided Military Service  due to "bone spurs" has the audacity to belittle those  who died serving the Country. What a miserable human being.

Trump praised Adelson as “a committed member of the American Jewish community” and compared the civilian medal to the Medal of Honor, the highest military award for battlefield valor, which has been awarded to just 3,517 troops out of the 41 million who have served their nation.

“It’s the equivalent of the congressional Medal of Honor,” Trump said of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. “But the civilian version, it’s actually much better because everyone that gets the Congressional Medal of Honor, they’re soldiers.”

“They’re either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets or they’re dead,” he said. “[Adelson] gets it, and she’s a healthy, beautiful woman, and they’re rated equal, but she got the Presidential Medal of Freedom.”`

And, he wants to be Commander In Chief. How can any parent encourge their son or daughter to volunteer for the military under his command? My heart goes out to those without limbs or live in wheel chairs as a result of serving their Country who read his pathetic comments about Vets.

Now that you are rid of Dementia Joe this is suddenly an issue?  Wait until Cackles has to debate him and you will see he is perfectly fine.  We had no trouble with military recruitment when Trump was President but we sure have ever since then.  Since I never served I will refrain from commenting on your last part but I am sure others who have will weigh in.

The difference is one has dementia and the other doesn't.  One proposed and took mental acuity tests and the other one refused.  One decimated the other in a debate that drove him out of the race.

Yep, that and many other things like not proposing eliminating student debt or giving $25K of our money to home buyers that can't afford to buy one, etc., etc., etc.  There hasn't been such a difference in policy since Reagan v Mondale.

I notice the author is from Hillsdale College, a far, far right college. They have a good collection of online courses. I am currently enolled in one of their courses.

I already explained it to you and it has nothing to do with anything he said or any of the fabrications of what he said.  I did not vote for him in the 2016 primary because I was not convinced he would govern as a conservative.  On that note he more than pleasantly surprised me.  I did not vote for him in a 2020 primary because there wasn't one, but if there had been I would have.  I did not vote for him in the 2024 primary because I did not think he was the best candidate to defeat whoever replaced Joe Biden and I wanted a President that would have two terms because that's how long it's going to take to fix the mess your guy and the lady who deposed him as the nominee created.  So from now on when you remind me of that I will say asked and answered.  I am very consistent in my beliefs and rational in my decisions, unlike emotional leftists like you.
