I am up North 1500 miles from Alabama to avoid hurricanes and have no problem logging in. Is the Forum the only site you can't log into?

Have you rebooted your modem and router? Sometimes that helps. Disconnect router, disconnect modem, wait a few minutes and reconnect modem. I wait until the modem boots up with no  flashing lights and then connect the router.

You may want to call your internet provider.

I used to comment often on this forum.  I found most posts to be reasonably thought out.  But then there are some posts and replies which seemed impulsive and ill-conceived and sometimes laced with unwarranted invective.

The most effective communicator relies on knowledge, correct grammar, eloquence, and persuasiveness.  Most of the contributors of this forum are capable - and some quite effective – at expressing themselves.  And others need to put down their beer, use the bathroom, and wash their minds before they type.

Mostly I don’t jump in because the signal-to-noise ratio is often significantly less than 1 (more bull-pucky than information).

And frequently there are effective contributors whose ideology is both similar to mine and well expressed. If I can’t usefully add to the conversation, I restrain myself from joining the fray.

I visit often – comment seldom – and have no need for affirmation.
