I have looked at the rule for the rising of the lake levels on our lake and have looked at all other lakes on the Alabama power system   Why is logan Martin lower by 2.5 ft low verses all the other lakes in the system at full pool.   Im watching the rule and it appears to me that we are off rule by almost a foot.   Hope we dont have the same issues that we did last year.

The incompetency of lake level management is a poor as ever this year. They continue to blame 'others', yet can not seem to maintain a schedule that I am told the 'others' require. Bureaucracy at it's infamous. Take a look at the schedule. Their mismanagement can not be good for the shoreline and fish, which supposedly is why they say they have to do what they're directed. Add the federal core of engineers into the mix, and you get the chaos we unfortunately must experience. Flood control does not have to equal mismanagement.

My opinion is that the local politicians in the area do not put their weight behind the success of the lake. Obviously if the lake is full the businesses around the lake will flourish from restaurants an gas to groceries and supplies for your fun. Yes we have the LMLPA but it would be nice to have a couple of mayors and state representatives pushing for better conditions. It can always be worse like 2007 but it would be nice to have a full 6-7 months of full pool.

I thought all knew that a hadfull of paddle boaters down river take presidence over thousands of Logan Martin land owners and patrons. This has been a issue for some time. Like everything else , aone group of responsable people sacrefice for many who do not.. Sucks don't it.

As common sense is out the window let me ask why is the lake cleanup held before tje lake level brought up. Forinstance, my shore line looks like a garbage dump when levels rise. Go figure.
