Having the lady prosecutor represent them in this kangaroo court was a big mistake. Why has she not been confronted on her claustrophobia and fear of flying as an excuse to delay the hearing? Her own statements and letters show she flies for vacations in the mid Atlantic, to Delaware for who knows what, and to Maryland for the sham polygraph. Her integrity could be impeached on that issue alone. Tell one lie in court and you are disregarded in total.

She was asked and basically said that she flies all over the world but it's easier when it's for vacation.  Huh?!?!?  Sorry, but a phobia is a phobia.  I hate being near the edge of buildings or cliffs and it is exactly the same fear regardless of the circumstances.  That is certainly not remotely believable.

So far what we have learned from her testimony is that there is still zero evidence that the incident even occurred, let alone involving BK.  And we have a whole new series of contradictions and inconsistencies from her.  Her valley girl voice is not going to do anything to help her credibility and the absolute lack of any evidence or even corroboration it is true is palpable.  Whether Flake, Collins or Murkowski will come to this logical conclusion is anyone's guess.

Agreed. That is the onlydecent exchange for the Republicans. I am claustrophobic and like you it is always present. And then to at first deny k owl edge of the offer to come to her and then say just didn't understand that was an option is unbelievable also. It was strictly a delay tactic. I say confirm him and then do a thorough investigation of the whole matter and take down creepy porn wanna be POTUS along the way. He can always be impeached if any of it should be confirmed which I highly doubt would be the case. The maps put a lot in perspective also. She either got a ride or walked several miles home but she cant remember. Ya, right. She must have been in a fugue (SP?) state from the trauma. /sarc

Her own year books show she was a drunken party girl and many have described as a party slut.  But she is a "victim" so her past is out of bounds but just fine to bring up his past. The whole thing is repugnant.

It appears that what she was mostly trying to establish the rank politics of this last minute allegation.  Methinks the GOP has given up pn Kavanaugh and is setting the stage for a much abbreviated process for his replacement so it gets done before the end of the year.  Either way if he goes down in flames it means a 4-4 court for the entire session.  Wonder if they can bring Kennedy back in the interim.  Don't see why not.  And he loves BK so he will make them pay for what they did to his protege.

How is it that this woman has a memory that is apparently clear enough for her to perform as a college professor and author numerous professional articles but her memory becomes "blurred" when asked about things in her past which she selectively uses when questioned about things that do not support her "claims". How is it that so many of her past "friends and associates" do not corroborate most of her accusations?

It really doesn't matter what her testimony was, how many inconsistencies there are, or what we think.  The only thing that matters is how will the gutless and spineless Republican senators vote.  If they needed this hearing/deposition to make up their minds, then most likely they will prove to be gutless and spineless masses of political blob.  Murkowski is quoted as as saying Ford was credible.  Only an absolute fool could reach that conclusion.

Not so fast on their initial reactions.  We will see what happens with Kavanaugh and he has so far come out swinging.  I actually am beginning to think that his role is to mount the defense, point out all the inconsistencies, etc. and that he is following up on what we heard from her testimony, which was absolutely nothing new and devoid of any additional evidence or corroboration.  Let's see how the afternoon plays out.  I do agree with you that if the GOP Senators fall for this they deserve to lose power.  This is a sham and a disgrace and for them to allow Democrats to win on this would be inexcusable.

That part is simply not believable.  She is a useful idiot of the Dems and it is a sad spectacle.  And it is not just a lack of any shred of corroboration, those she claims were present, including her life long friend have refuted her story completely.  In a sane world that alone would be sufficient to demonstrate his innocence.  But we do not live in a sane world these days.

And evidence it is untrue is still exactly zero!

Evidence one way or the other might, no guarantees, but might be forthcoming if other supposed persons present were questioned under oath by the FBI in a situation where it is criminal to lie and if other things events and places associated with the accusation were looked into with an unbiased eye.  Why is it only the Kavanaugh crowed that steadfastly refuses such?  If the shoe were on the other foot this forum crowed would be squealing like a stuck pig for a complete and exhaustive investigation by The FBI and half a dozen congressional committees.

Even if Ford is telling a bald face, lie Kavanaugh has demonstrated by his own words yesterday that he has neither judicial temperament nor the political blindness to be in a position to fairly judge anything!  Of course if he gets on the court and if Dear Leader ever gets the demanded investigation of Hillary and some aspect of such an investigation ever makes it to the Supremes he for dang sure has Kavanaugh's support regardless of the evidence!

Sorry, have you presented evidence about farm animals or dogs lately?  From what I gather you are one of the old white(assumption on my part) males that need to "shut up and stand up" to quote one of your congresscritters.

By your own logic you are guilty of what has been posted on the internet. How does it feel to be unable to provide evidence you did not do something and that your own party is telling you as a white male to shut up.
