The grandkids from Louisana visited still waters Thursday & Friday. I was a good trip despite the wind and hail storm on Friday night. The 8 and 12 year old are becomming quite the worm fishermen. We boated 30 spots in 1.5 days up to 3 lbs all on Yum worms, cotton candy and watermelon red with spotsticker heads. Fish were caught in the Blue creek area and were 8-20 ft deep depending on the feeding habits. It was CAR (catch & release) vs refigerate weekend. A great time of year to introduce your kids or grandkids to fishing.
