My 5 year old son dropped his glasses... Anyhow it gave me 100 minutes of mandatory downtime. Got colder than I wanted and had about 20 hours surface interval between dips.
About 5 to 10 feet vis at 40+ feet and bottom was settled very well. Actually wouldn't have taken 5 minutes to find glasses but I messed that up. Ulitmately I found them and learned a good lesson. If you drop a weight as a marker (point of reference) do it far enough from the point you dropped the item as to not disturb the silt and cover the item you are looking for... 3 feet isn't far enough. So next time I will drop weight 10 to 12 feet away and follow compass from point of reference...
Just got me itching for a recreational dive! Who is ready to go?
BTW, it was COLD still..... Cobra read 51 degrees at 40 feet.
