It is great news for the MAGA crowd that Matt Gaetz will be the next Attorney General. With a Republican Senate, he should not have a problem getting confirmed since he is Trump's choice. He resigned today from the House which I assume means he has the confirmation votes. I predict Matt Gaetz will be the next Florida Governor.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Already some raised eyebrows in the Senate. Who knows, maybe a Gaetz is what it will take to break Justice out of its partisan MO. The real criminals in all of these attempts to use the system to take down Trump are the DoJ and FBI themselves.

When you say he will break the justice department out of its partisan MO, are you suggesting he will be fair and balanced?
I assume his appointment is to get rid of any existing partisanship and replace it with Trump's brand of partisanship. The truth is that the MAGA crowd wants their brand of partisanship in the Justice Department so Trump can run it and seek retribution.
Our future Democracy will, in part, be measured by candidates seeking election based on who they will imprison after an election. ?
The new nominee Sec of Defense is great on FOX TV and should have no problem getting confirmed. I suspect he was recommended by Hannity.
I am looking forward to Tucker and Kennedy appointments.

He resigned so DeSantis could appoint his replacement on January 3rd when Congress reconvenes. Also will prevent the House ethics committee from releasing their report but it will go to the Senate and the FBI for their background check. Gaetz will be a recess appointment because I don't believe he will be confirmed as AG. Nor do I think Tulsi Gabbard will be confirmed as head of DNI. Otherwise all the rest will fly. And no, I do not think Gaetz will be the next Governor of Florida.

The problem at DOJ is that they have already established themselves as the department that tries to put political opponents in prison. You never worried about this in the past because you were all in for who they wanted to imprison. Trump is going issue a bunch of pardons of his political opponents and one crack-head son because he wants this to end. Gaetz will be a disrupter and will expose the partisanship at DOJ which is what is needed. But he will not be confirmed, he will do it as a recess appointment.
As for your crack about Hegseth let me provide his full resume. Hegseth, a decorated Army combat veteran, is no stranger to national defense. Having served in Guantanamo Bay, Iraq, and Afghanistan, he was awarded two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman’s Badge for his battlefield service. Hegseth is also a Princeton and Harvard graduate, pairing an elite academic background with real-world experience. You just parroted the Sen. Liawatha without digging deeper. And the left's biggest fear about him? That he will make our military more lethal. Imagine that, getting rid of the woke generals and replacing them with real warriors. That sounds exactly right to me.

Rejoice everyone, the DOJ is doing a great job on curtailing speech you may not like.
Using our tax money to silence certain voices seems fine to me.
Even goofy agreed his voice be included in your choices.

GFY gonna GFY.
He just complains when the shoe looks like it may be on the other foot for a change. Was 100% on board with everything in the last 4 years.
Kind of like the piece of Schift talking about bipartisanship is needed moving forward, after 4 years of pure left leaning horse pucky.

Funny, I never heard you discuss the credentials of our current head of HHS. Xavier Becerra is a lawyer and politician with zero...read that, zero expertise regarding human health. His one and only claim to fame in this arean is to try to force the Little Sisters of the Poor to provide contraception and abortion....he lost. And then there is Rachel Levine, whose primary attribute is being a fat, ugly man pretending to be a woman. At least rFK has been involved in public health issues as an environmental attorney and questioning vaccine safety.
Goofy, sit this one out as you don't have a clue.

I may need to sit it out but interesting your dislike for the current HHS Secretary's position on abortion. Yet, you seem to support Kennedy who is a Democrat and supports abortion.
