On larger lakes a company, Sea Tow, provides for its members, boater assistance. Here on Logan Martin we have no such service. It seems with the proliferation of social media and various GPS services we should be able to form a cooperative assistance program. In the past I have towed other boats and been towed. However relying on a passing boat to notice is iffy. If somehow I was notified of a stranded boat in my area I would be willing to go get them. Anyone else think this makes sense?

Great Idea! Perhaps we could get tp a list of those who would be willing to help. I would be glad to as long as I have enough water to float my boat.

Whaler, you will probably get more response if you post this to the facebook page - All Things Logan Martin - it has much more traffic than here
