Was out bass fishing Saturday afternoon for a bit from my kayak. Throwing a chartreuse Bomber 'A' on a light spinning rod. A huge blue cat hit right at the yak. I went for a little ride until he quieted down. I had to beach to get it off the hook. Didn't have any scales, but I'd guess 12lbs or so.
Never knew a cat would hit a crankbait! Lot's of fun though!

Yes sir, they will hit most anything LOL. Ive caught em on spinner baits, worms, you name it.
As much fun as a cat is on a crankbait, just wait till you hook into a big ol drum or sizable Stripe on a bass rod!
