Has anyone been recently?  What's good on the menu now?

Very limited menu on a piece of paper (this must be new, judging by the number of people asking about it).

Pedestrian Ceasar salad.  Rack of lamb showed no evidence of the promised rosemary crust.  I ordered it medium, but two of the chops were rare.
Feb had a very odd dish of Bershire pork chop with a very vinegary pico de gallo topping.  It was resting on grilled polenta, which would have been fine if the vinegar from the pico had not soaked it.

Felt like they were using up food.  Wonder if they about to go under.

and the location is not good. Interesting they had Berkshire pork. I had some at a sustainable agriculture event in Bowdon GA 4-5 years ago - incidently cooked by an old wood smokerman - and it was the best pork I think I have ever had.

There was recently an article in B'hm News about Berkshire pork and apparently it is the new darling of the chefs.  The article was about a breeder who is bringing back the older breeds of pigs.  I think it can be tasty if it is prepared properly.
Catherine's Market sells Berkshire pork chops.

Cool.  I usually try to buy organic meats when I can.  Have you ever subscribed to their cooperative?

when I was in Roswell. These sustainable agriculture groups are ususally organic and the farms will deliver to a drop-off point where you can pick it up. You get veggies that are in season and won't know until you get them. But for the money its a bargain and the veges are great. I was hoping the A-Town market would be like that but I don't think so. Do you know of any group around here?

No, I don't.  I wish I did.  I'm rather surprised that none of the farmers around have not gone in this direction.
