My point in placing the "homophobe" comment was
not to accuse anyone of being one or implying that anyone had referred to
somebody as being a homosexual. The intent was that I can't stand the whole
concept of "political correctness". Big brother with the help of the
media have really done a great job in turning a lot of our country into lambs
who can't think for themselves and merely mimic what they have been brainwashed
into believing. The point was to say
that if I don't agree with the practice I have the right to say so without
being given a label and facing consequences.
The military for example has become a proving ground for this
concept. Let a military member get
caught making a statement about his/her disagreement with the lifestyle and
watch that members career take a quick dive for the worse. We are slowly losing our ability of free
speech and the right to have our own opinions.
I am personally tired of tip toeing around and being "sensitive". I want to be able to have my opinion and say
so in public without being assigned a label or being put in jail (which is
probably what will happen in ten years if I choose not to hire a pedophile for
my day care center).
