Man that stinks.. We learned over the years to have a secondary shutoff valve right before it inters the house under the ground. This will give you two points to shut the water off. After shutting the water off get the antifreeze made for campers and flush your toilets with the water off, then poor it into the bowl and the back and flush again. that gets it into the drain system. also poor a little in each drain for the traps.
