Sounds like he spoke from the heart. Tiger has previously said that he doesn't consider himself "black" or "African American" and he certainly isn't a preacher or a politician. I watched the inauguration live, and I can't remember if I saw him or not. (but then, I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night. LOL)
I think when you invite someone to speak and unless you assign them a topic, then they are allowed to speak on anything they wish. It sounds like it was a thoughtful speech.
