I never went to the doctor for COVID. I recognized I might have it and monitored my temperature very carefully, while watching for other symptoms, symptoms that never came. I only asked to be tested some time later when I went to see my doc for a pesky infection with an abrasion that resulted from a freak accident in the barn of an old place we recently bought. I described my symptoms to my doc and he said he would test me to see for sure. The results were I had the antibodies and a small residual infection. My purpose for the retest is to ensure there is no more active infection and begin the process of determining if I am a plasma donation candidate. If I am, the inconvenience of spending an hour or two hooked up to a plasma sucking machine will be well worth it if it helps a fellow human being beat the virus.
